Last May, Gerolamo Scorza successfully delivered a comprehensive refurbishment project aboard Silver Cloud during the vessel's dry dock / stay in Singapore. Originally built by T. Mariotti S.p.A. - Shipyard (part of Genova Industrie Navali S.p.A. Group), the ship underwent significant outfitting works designed to elevate guest comfort and onboard ambiance.
The intervention covered several prime areas:
Scope of works included the renewal of flooring and bathroom finishes, ceiling recoating, installation of bespoke furnishings, and the upgrade of selected lighting systems.
Delivering all priority tasks strictly within the required schedule was made possible by rapid operational mobilization, streamlined local procurement, reinforced technical teams, and close coordination across all stakeholders.
This milestone highlights the outstanding synergy established between the Silversea onboard team, the superintendent, and shoreside personnel. Once again, flexibility, adaptability, and cross-functional teamwork proved essential to mastering complex marine outfitting challenges.
