Gerolamo Scorza recently had the opportunity to reaffirm its strong presence in the domain of the interior design, through the refurbishment of 31 Public Toilets, the Spa, the Gym and the Shops onboard of Carnival Conquest, during the dry dock held in Cadiz (Spain), September 2022.
Project was appointed by Carnival Cruise Line.
In a challenging timelapse, Scorza completed the restoration of furniture, plants and systems, and these activities have even included the installation of new automatic doors with proximity sensors.
Specific goal of this refit was also to ensure the safety compliance of all the ADA areas.
The restyle onboard of Carnival Conquest also concerned floors, walls, ceilings and furniture partitions.
Solid surface back lit gondolas and funnel furniture were installed in Shops and top-quality finishing has been provided in following areas: Steam Baths, Saunas, showers, Treatment Rooms and Gym.
Through the performance of company’s supervisors and sub-contractors’ manpower, Scorza fully refurbished 1800 sqm of different areas, distributed in six different decks.
130 qualified workers attended the dry dock and have been coordinated by 8 Site Managers.
It took two months and a half for Scorza to organize the project and our company was also in charge of the logistics management and had to tackle with all the travel arrangements for the whole manpower.
Project was successfully achieved and met the Customer’s satisfaction.
